Coed Varsity Track Track and Field · Tri-Central Girls finish 2nd at TC Relays

Tri-Central’s girls finished 2nd out of 4 teams scoring 68 points. Carroll was 1st with 92 points. Clinton Prairie (55 points) and Rossville (13 points) rounded out the scoring. TC was led by double winners Lily Stogdill (100m in a school record 12.34, 200m in 27.3) and Julie Childers (400m in 1:03.9 and member of school record-setting 4 x 800m relay in 10:52) Other members of the relay were Serenity Ash, Alyssa Browning and Peighton Oliver. Gracie Grimes took the discus in a school record of 116’6″. Other notable performances included Peighton Oliver who was 2nd in the 1600m in a personal best 5:58, Alyssa Browning who was 2nd in the 800m in a personal best 2:45 and Natalie Garrity who was second in the Long Jump in a person best of 13” 3/4″.The TC girls are now 5-2 on the season and are back in action at the Kokomo Relays this Saturday.
