Tri-Central’s boys finished 4th with 41 points in a very competitive meet here on Tuesday night. Rossville was first with 76 points, Clinton Prairie was second with 60 points, Carroll was third with 53 points. The Trojans were led by double winners Ross Cassity (Discus – 134’3″ and shot put – 39’10”) and John Jimenez-Vasquez (Long Jump in a personal best 17’11” and 800m in a personal best of 2:12) Other notable performances were Jace Cassity who took 2nd in shot put, 3rd in discus and 5th in the 200m in a personal best 24.00, Ethan Gibson who took 2nd in the 1600m in a personal best 5:04 and 5th in the 3200m, Holden Rayl who took 4th in the 100m in a P.R. of 11.37 and Conner Gunlite who took 5th in the discus with a personal best of 99’4″. The Trojans are back in action at the Kokomo Relays on Saturday.
