Tri-Central vs. Eastern 7th Grade Basketball

Tri-Central 7th grade boys were defeated 56-20 Thursday evening. Michael Carr led the Trojans with 8. Braxton Young and Aaron Holman added 5. Rounding out the scoring was Colten Dowden with 2. Tri-Central plays at home Wednesday vs. Northwestern.

Tri-Central Boy’s 7th Grade Basketball

Tri-Central boy’s went down to defeat Wednesday losing to Rossville 57-24. Leading the Trojans with 14 points was Jaxson Pickett. He also had six rebounds. Aaron Holman followed with five. Other Trojans scoring were Thadius Fleenor-3. Braxton Young-2, and Colten Downden with two. Tri-Central gets back in action tomorrow hosting the Eastern Comets.

6th Grade Boys Basketball vs Western

The TC 6th boys lost both games to Western Wednesday night. The A-game was secured by Western with less than 40 seconds to play after a great effort was put up by TC to come back in the 4th quarter to take the lead after trailing the entire game.  The final score was 27-23 and

TC 6th Boys Split with St. Pat’s

The Tri-Central 6th grade boys basketball team split the evening with St. Pat’s of Kokomo by winning the A-game and losing the B-Game. The A-game was won over a tough, big, and very physical St. Pat’s team by a score of 25-18.  Scoring was lead by Detlef Burke who dropped in 8 pts while contributions were made

Tri-Central 7th Grade Boy’s Basketball

Tri-Central boys went down to defeat at home vs. Sheridan 45-18. Leading scorer for Tri-Central was Jaxson Pickett with nine points. Michael Carr added four. Aaron Holman had three. Braxton Young scored two. Colten Dowden finished out the scoring with one.

Boys Basketball at Clinton Central Holiday Tournament

Boys basketball will take on the Clinton Prairie Gophers at 6:30 on Friday, January 2nd in the opening round of the 55th annual Clinton Central Holiday Tournament. The second game will be Carroll playing Clinton Central. The consolation and championship game will take place on Saturday beginning at 6:30. The JV tournament begins at 9:00
